Eligibility:
·         Applications are accepted from talented candidates from Imperial College London, the UK and worldwide. There are no restrictions on nationality. 
·         Candidates must be among the highest achievers in their undergraduate cohort, and in receipt of, or due to receive a first class UK degree or equivalent.

You can apply for a Gates Cambridge Scholarship if you are:
·         a citizen of any country outside the United Kingdom
·         applying to pursue one of the following full-time residential courses of study at the University of Cambridge:

Method Of Application:
Applicants apply for a Gates Cambridge Scholarship and admission to their chosen postgraduate course at the University of Cambridge and a Cambridge College via the Graduate Admissions Office, using the Graduate Application Form and supporting documents.
It is not possible to apply for a Gates Cambridge Scholarship without applying to the University of Cambridge. You must apply for admission as a postgraduate student to the University of Cambridge and a Gates Cambridge Scholarship at the same time, using the one application pack.

Honjo International Graduate Scholarship For Foreign Students

Eligibility:
(To be considered for the scholarship, the student must satisfy ALL of the requirement criteria below.)
1.       The student does not possess Japanese citizenship.
2.      The student must be registered to attend or applying for a graduate school starting from April 1, 2016.
3.      To be eligible, students enrolled in a PhD Program must have been born after March 31, 1981. Those enrolled in a Master’s Program must have been born after March 31, 1986.
4.      The student must be able to assure the committee that he or she will be able to secure employment in their home country after graduating from a graduate school. This does not require him or her to have employment guaranteed or to return his or her home country immediately after graduating the university, but he or she is expected to have strong will of working in his or her home country in the future.
5.      The student must have a deep understanding of international friendship and goodwill, and must be able to attend the events organized by the foundation and take part in the network as an alumni member.
6.      The student must be able to carry an everyday conversation in Japanese. Interviews will be conducted in Japanese. (no exception)





Scholarship Value And Duration:
The period of the scholarship is set in accordance with the shortest period of time required to complete the intended degree. The student, once awarded the scholarship will be able to choose the option (1), (2) or (3) as below.
(1) ¥200,000 per month for1 or 2 years
(2) ¥180,000 per month for 3 years
(3) ¥150,000 per month for 4 or 5 years

To be eligible for a Chevening Award you must:
·         Be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country

Flinders University International Postgraduate Research Scholarship (FIPRS), Australia

Eligibility:
·         Applicants must satisfy the University's academic entry requirements for a Masters degree by research or Doctorate by research.
·         Applicants are required to have successfully completed at least the equivalent of an Australian First Class Hons degree(this is a four year degree with a major research project in the final year)
·         Applicants must have met the English proficiency levels set by Flinders University for international students at the time of application. Students for whom English is a foreign language will need to provide evidence of their English language competence.
·         Applicants must not hold an equivalent research higher degree qualification.  Applications are only open to students commencing a research higher degree in Australia for the first time. 
·         Applicants must not hold Australian citizenship, Australian permanent resident status or New Zealand citizenship.

Scholarship Value:
The scholarships enable suitably qualified applicants to commence a full-time research higher degree.
The FIPRS pays the international student tuition fees charged by Flinders University for a research higher degree.

In addition, Flinders University provides the recipient with a generous living allowance paid at the rate of $26,288 (2016 rate). It is tax exempt and indexed annually.

An FIPRS student who moves to Adelaide from overseas is eligible for an establishment allowance (after arrival at Flinders) of up to $1,485 to assist with relocation costs and airfares, provided receipts can be produced by the student

Eligibility:  
·         Students must first submit an application for admission before they can apply for the scholarship. Students may apply for the scholarship before being admitted to ETSU;however a scholarship applicant must be admitted to ETSU as a full-time, degree-seeking student before the scholarship application can be reviewed.
·         Have or plan to have an F-1 or J-1 student visa
·         Have a demonstrated record of academic achievement
·         Fill out the scholarship application form.
·         Students are encouraged to apply for the scholarship as soon as they apply for admission to ETSU.
·         Undergraduate recipients must maintain a 2.75 grade point average in order to continue receiving the scholarship. Graduate recipients must maintain a 3.0 GPA

Scholarship Duration:
·         Eight semesters for undergraduate recipients
·         Five semesters for recipients seeking a master's degree, or commensurate with the length of the program.
·         Eight semesters for doctoral students, or commensurate with the length of the program
·         Scholarship can be applied to summer semesters.

Scholarship Value:
The scholarship only applies to in and out-of-state tuition and maintenance fees. Recipients will be required to pay other fees such as program fees, course fees, housing costs, and medical insurance costs.

Students must apply for admission to ETSU before applying for the scholarship. Once an admissions application is submitted, the student may then apply for the scholarship. A student's scholarship application will be reviewed once the student is admitted to the university.
