Facebook To Provide Free Internet From Space by 2016, Starting From Africa

Facebook has teamed up with Eutelsat to provide free internet in Africa.
The company's initial plan was to use its own satellite to provide the free internet, but, according to a new agreement the company has teamed up with Eutelsat to provide free internet to the sub-saharan part of Africa from next year(2016).
Facebook and Eutelsat will use the satellite AMOS-6 to beam direct internet to smartphones in west, East, and Southern Africa.
This satellite is made by an israeli company spacecom, and is expected to launch this year.


Africa, expect free internet soon.

Apples Next Big Thing: The Apple Ring

According to an Apple patent, the cupertino tech giant might be working on a device smaller than the Apple Watch.
A possible Apple Ring that would enable its users to control it using voice command.
It would also allow users to control other electronic device using a touchscreen mounted on the ring.
The patent goes on to detail the components used to build such device, a processor, touchscreen and a wireless transciever that would transmit the characters to a paired device.

More than 1Billion Android devices are vulnerable to hackers once again, this time the flaw allows a hacker to hack your android smartphone just by tricking users to visit a website that contains malicious multimedia files, either mp3 or mp4. In july the stagefright bug allows attackers to hack android smartphones with just simple text message, but now its something else.
Google has scheduled monthly Android Security Update on 5th october 2015, which will patch the newly discovered vulnerabilities in Nexus devices.
